Throughout history human beings and animals have both had cancer that has been recorded down. The earliest evidence of cancer is found in fossilized bones tumors, also cancer has been found in mummies. Cancer got the name from a Greek Physician named Hippocrates from 300-700 BC. He was considered to be the "father of medicine". Between the 15th and 18th century cancer has had much more discoveries to it. Hippocrates gave cancer its name after a crab that he found.
